2018 Ford Escape Trim Levels
The Ford Escape has been a best seller since its introduction in 2001. Now in its third generation, the compact SUV shows no sign of slowing down. Modern styling, unmatched capability and a generous list of standard equipment put it in a class of its own. And with four exclusive trim levels available, there’s a 2018 Ford Escape for just about everyone.
2018 Ford Escape trim levels
For 2018, the Ford Escape is available in four trim levels: S, SE, SEL and Titanium. All but the S model are offered with a Safe and Smart package. The bundle includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning and intervention. Plus, it has automatic high beams and automatic wipers.
2018 Ford Escape S
Although it’s considered a base model, the S trim level is far from spartan. Notable standard equipment includes parental controls, a center display with SYNC tech, and a rearview camera. Cruise control and air-conditioning are also onboard.
Power comes from a 2.5L engine (168 hp and 170 lb-ft.) paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. If you want four-wheel drive, you’ll want to move up to the next trim level.
2018 Ford Escape SE
All the conveniences the S model has, the SE has, too. Plus, it’s equipped with standard dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and sound-reducing glass. A Sport Appearance package and a SYNC3 tech package are optional, as are a tow package and sunroof.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.5L four-cylinder EcoBoost engine (179 hp and 177 lb-ft.) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, with optional four-wheel drive available
2018 Ford Escape SEL
The SEL is an all-new trim level for 2018. With it, leather comes standard, along with heated side mirrors and rear parking sensors. The SYNC3 infotainment system keeps occupants connected.
Performance comes from a 1.5L EcoBoost engine (179 hp and 177 lb-ft.) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with the option of four-wheel drive on the table.
2018 Ford Escape Titanium
The Titanium model is the pinnacle of Ford Escape indulgence. It takes everything from the SEL and builds on it, with features like remote start, ambient lighting, and a hands-free tailgate. In addition, it packs an enhanced active park assist system and high-intensity discharge headlamps.
An exclusive engine is found under the hood as well – a 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder (245 hp and 275 lb-ft). The rest of the drivetrain remains the same: a 6-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is optional. When properly equipped, the stout Titanium can tow an impressive 3,500 lbs.
