2018 Ford Escape trim levels
For 2018, the Ford Escape is available in four trim levels: S, SE, SEL and Titanium. All but the S model are offered with a Safe and Smart package. The bundle includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning and intervention. Plus, it has automatic high beams and automatic wipers.
2018 Ford Escape S
Although it’s considered a base model, the S trim level is far from spartan. Notable standard equipment includes parental controls, a center display with SYNC tech, and a rearview camera. Cruise control and air-conditioning are also onboard.
Power comes from a 2.5L engine (168 hp and 170 lb-ft.) paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. If you want four-wheel drive, you’ll want to move up to the next trim level.
2018 Ford Escape SE
All the conveniences the S model has, the SE has, too. Plus, it’s equipped with standard dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and sound-reducing glass. A Sport Appearance package and a SYNC3 tech package are optional, as are a tow package and sunroof.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.5L four-cylinder EcoBoost engine (179 hp and 177 lb-ft.) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, with optional four-wheel drive available
