The standard 6-passenger seating (a 7th is available as an option) and the hands-free tailgate will also be popular features for large families.

Even though it's a family vehicle, the Explorer has a lot going for it! Its 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine delivers some 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque! If you want to take the experience a little further, the optional 3.0L turbocharged EcoBoost engine delivers 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the 10-speed transmission allows for more efficient transitions, making upshifts smoother.

Modern yet eye-catching, the Explorer's design was created with your comfort in mind. The Active Motion seats are easily positioned and the five massage themes will make you want to stay in your car longer!
